From Molino Los Justos, in the direction of Fuentes de Cesna, approximately 5 km, the Cesna Cultural Park is located and is made up of various elements of natural, historical and ethnological interest.
The main element is the Despoblado de Cesna or "Fuentes Viejas", the ancient village of Fuentes de Cesna, nestled under the skirt of a long cliff and overlooking Lake of Iznajar and at the confluence of the provinces of Cordova, Grenada and Malaga.
Even you can see the remains of houses that were gradually abandoned after the landslides of 1942 and 1963 in the Cesna Cultural Park. It is divided into different areas or neighborhoods (low neighbourhood, La Asomailla, high Cuevas, Cuevas Bajas, La Trocha) and is set around three water births (source of the Plaza, Enmedio source and Source El Caño).
This abandoned village has become a garden, growing vegetation and trees everywhere, invading homes and streets and giving the place an almost magical atmosphere.
In addition to the "Fuentes Viejas" within the Cesna Cultural Park we find other items of interest including the Cesna Castle, an old medieval fortress of which are preserved some towers of the perimeter or the Tajo de Villavieja or Villavieja, a huge cut in which settled various civilizations throughout history and that today gives us one of the sunsets prettiest municipality.
Besides all this, in the Cesna Cultural Park can find us, a great network of routes, as well as work houses that make up this peculiar Andalusian landscape.
